Description:
This Sundays with the Muse Spring Series is a collaborative series of experiential workshops created and lead by 7 women, dedicated to the enrichment of the body, mind, heart & soul of a woman, seeking to empower themselves and others by sharing embodied teachings.
Sundays with the Muse is a woman-centered, community-building, life-enhancing series which promises connections and experiences which will carry you past your daily circumstances and limitations, for mutual healing and growth.
Each 3 hour workshop is created to take you on a journey towards greater awareness and aliveness, based on the 7 sacred energy wheels or chakras, starting from the root of your being, upwards to your crown. Every delicious workshop will touch different realms of possibilities, from head to toe, heart to soul.
Taking the full series is ideal, however, if that is not possible, enjoy those you can, as each workshop has it’s own stand-alone magic and healing
This is going to be another STUNNING Series! Tell your friends.
March 21- ‘Rooting Into the Earth; The Seeds of Our Becoming’ with Caro Cloutier
Come join this Spring Equinox Celebration and Fire Ceremony of expressive art-making, dreaming, journeying, journaling and community.
As in ancient times, we are celebrating the return to our natural cycle and honour our seeds that have been dormant in the winter’s darkness. By the thawing of our own being comes the potential for our growth to rise up again and shine in a whole new way. Come express and nurture your tender roots so they may grow strong and bold into the earth mother. Nurture your fertile soil so that you may grow the corn that you wish for yourself in your life. Bring a piece of nature representing who we are as the Divine Feminine in Human form as part of a sacred collective mandala.
Caro Cloutier B.A., dipl.EXAT, is a practicing expressive arts therapist, energy medicine practitioner, and past Board Member of the Ontario Society of Psychotherapists. She invokes sacredness and healing experiences by engaging participants to rekindle their sense of play, creativity and self-expression. Caro’s expressive arts therapy is inspired by drama, visual art, movement, toning or sounding, storytelling, text, symbolism, mythic mapping and ceremony. Caro has brought this work to many, including St. Joseph’s Immigrant Women’s Centre, Trinity Hospice and Gilda’s Place. April 11- ‘Authentic Movement’ with Gennie Brukner
Engage your power with authentic movement.
In authentic movement, you close your eyes and experience what’s going on inside of you. Then you wait for an impulse to move and/or sound. Being in a space where you can move and sound in any way you feel compelled to can be immensely freeing. There is the opportunity to come into contact with what’s alive within you below the level of your conscious awareness. Expressing it can be a great release and a relief and connect you more deeply to yourself. Being connected to yourself is essential to taking powerful action.
Gennie Brukner has trained for three years at the Authentic Movement Institute in Berkeley, California. She has also done some training with Ruth Zaporah in Action Theatre, Emilie Conrad Doud in Continuum Movement, Charlotte Selver in Sensory Awareness and Nina Martin in Ensemble Improvisation. Her work is always informed by her meditation practice. For more info, contact Gennie at gbrukner@gmail.com416-531-0288

Ignite your joy, using playful practices from around the world and experience laughter as the sacred thread that aligns your mind, body, and spirit.
Valerie loves to laugh. Ha! Ha! Ha!: The Medicine of Laughter was borne out of a desire to share the contagiousness of silliness and laughter in community. If you would like to have fun and experience the healing power of laughter, then this is the workshop for you. Everyone is welcome! Valerie Moysey, B.A., CST, LMT has been facilitating classes, workshops, and ongoing practice groups for seven years.
